DESCRIPTION
Do you have an analog black & white project that you want to move forward with but could benefit from some ongoing guidance? Do you need a fresh pair of eyes, conversation with fellow creators, a little technical help, or just some focused time working on it? Then join us this spring quarter for Black and White Photography Projects. On the first day we will discuss your individual project proposal and what the next steps are to further develop your concept. Then we will dive-in and spend the quarter printing, sharing through critique, and working out the kinks to move your individual project forward. Along the way, we will touch upon various darkroom techniques and discuss the work of other analog darkroom artists. Join us for this quarter-long darkroom elective course and get ready to create, print, and share.
NOTES
- Students should expect to spend several hours per week on assignments for this course, which will require use of PCNW facilities; view our Rental Rates for details about additional fees.
- Additional information about course expectations and required materials will be provided by the instructor at the start of the quarter.
