DESCRIPTION
Finding inspiration in the everyday environment that surrounds us, this course will explore how students can bridge mediums by introducing a cross-disciplinary approach to photography and image making. Using your immediate environment (home, personal objects, family, etc.) as source material, explore how to develop new ways of seeing and thinking critically and creatively. Through both short-form course assignments and longer-format projects, students will gain tools for collaborative exchange and critical analysis. This course is ideal for those interested in pushing their creative ideas beyond traditional medium-specific approaches.
