Explore the early pictorial process of Lith printing as a way to bring added layers of textural and emotional qualities to your own contemporary work through hands-on alternative process. The chemical reactions of the Lith process result in it's characteristic print texture and color; master this process to exploit these characteristics to suit your desired expression. Join Gina this Spring as she introduces you to this amazing, versatile process and how to apply it in your own work.
- Students should expect to spend several hours per week on assignments for this course, which will require use of PCNW facilities; view our Rental Rates for details about additional fees.
- The Materials Fee for the course includes supplies that will be used for in-class demonstrations, some of which will be available for completion of initial assignments. Students will be required to purchase additional paper and other materials/supplies for personal use / completion of assignments.
