Capture the vibrancy of street life in Seattle in the summer and produce a series of photos that shows your unique perspective on the urban environment. Whether you focus on the amazing architecture and details of city streets, the characters and people that populate our common sidewalks, pets and people, or city parks, our city has a lot to offer photographers seeking creative ways of sharing their view of Seattle. Led by our experienced instructor Annabel Clark, this workshop will incorporate field trips to the International District and Pioneer Square/Waterfront, Capitol Hill, and South Lake Union and provide an opportunity for students to formulate, shoot, edit, and print a photographic series of their own. Hone your photographic skills (using any digital camera), learn editing/printing techniques using Adobe Lightroom, practice shooting people and activities in the field, all while exploring the visual landscape of Seattle’s neighborhoods.
DSLR cameras and scholarships are available for those in need; contact us at scholarships@pcnw.org.
