Night photography opens up a fantastic world of color and contrast. Nondescript places that look so boring during the day can appear so colorful and dramatic at night. Streetlights, neon lights, traffic, and the starry skies all make for such great subjects to photograph. However, anyone who has done night photography knows that post-processing those images to bring out the best of the image can be a challenge.

Beyond Night Photography focuses on the editing of images taken at night. Using Camera RAW/Lightroom, Photoshop, and some other software tools and plug-ins, this course will help you get the most out of your images, fix the most common issues, and prepare your images for printing or sharing no matter the size. Topics include workflow, color correction, masking and selections, compositing, black and white conversions, noise reduction, sharpening, and more. We will also talk about best practices and approaches to take behind the camera to make sure you have the best captures possible.
