PREREQS Proficient working knowledge of basic digital camera operations and photographic concepts + Digital Workflow Basics workshop, or equivalent experience with Lightroom


Join Andrew Parsons for this two-day intensive focused on understanding a comprehensive fashion photography workflow, from studio lighting and camera capture to digital retouching and post processing. During the first day, students will work collaboratively and gain hands-on experience shooting in the studio with a model, learning a variety of useful lighting set-ups, camera settings, and technical studio skills. We'll discuss proper etiquette when working with talent and what goes into making a fashion image truly stand out. During the second day, we will shift gears to the digital lab, focusing on what makes Adobe Photoshop such a powerful tool for your fashion workflow. From Camera Raw to skin retouching, masking and layers, and color grading, you’ll learn the essentials of creating polished, professional portraits.

During this workshop you can expect to gain:

  • A solid foundation in Photoshop retouching and digital workflow
