DESCRIPTION
Join artist, photographer, and PCNW core faculty member Melinda Hurst Frye for an introductory workshop on crafting a professional artist resume or CV. Learn what is important to include in representing your creative practice and how to tailor your resume for specific opportunities, from institutional grants, to artist residencies, to photography review events. Learn how to lay out and organize your artistic experience as clearly as possible.
INSTRUCTOR BIO
Seattle-based artist Melinda Hurst Frye holds an MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a BFA from Pacific Northwest College of Art. Hurst Frye’s work has been featured on Humble Arts Foundation, Lenscratch, and WIRED Photo and exhibited widely throughout the United States. She has participated in numerous artist residencies and is represented by J. Rinehart Gallery in Seattle, WA.
