Join acclaimed food photographer and stylist Aran Goyoaga at her Seattle studio for this unique workshop, as we learn about what goes into the successful development of a cookbook. Aran will discuss her philosophy on shooting in natural daylight, styling food for camera, sourcing and styling props and composition. In addition, Aran will discuss the content and steps that have gone into the creation of her upcoming cookbook. Students will have time to set up and photograph their own images.
Aran Goyoaga is a 2-time James Beard Award finalist for her blog Cannelle et Vanille. She is a freelance food stylist and photographer based in Seattle. She is also the author of "Small Plates & Sweet Treats: My Family's Journey to Gluten-Free Cooking". Her work has been featured in Food & Wine, Conde Nast Traveler, Vogue, Everyday Food, New York Times, GOOP, Saveur, In Style, Sweet Paul and many more publications.
*This is an off-site workshop taking place at Aran Goyoaga's studio in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. Registrants will be e-mailed additional details about the workshop and location.
