How will you remember this moment in time? Nearly 2 years after the world locked down due to COVID-19, we are inching towards a “new normal”. Create your own photographic time capsule to show your future self and generations what it was like to be alive in 2022. As a group we will look at personal projects by photographers who have worked during extraordinary times in history, including work made in response to the Coronavirus and the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020. Photo assignments will focus on the changes you see in your home life, neighborhood and community. We will meet for an in-person photo walk downtown to explore the changes that have affected our broader community of Seattle and the world. We will discuss and critique each other’s photographs each week, building a cohesive series of images that tells your story of a time we will never forget.
