    PCNW PAYMENT & REFUND POLICIES
    The information provided below outlines details about Member Registration, Class Registration, Class Withdrawal & Refund Policies, Workshop Registration, and Workshop Withdrawal & Refund Policies. Please refer to our Education/Administrative Policies for complete information.


    MEMBER REGISTRATION
    As a PCNW Member, you can receive a discount on tuition for classes and workshops. In order to redeem this benefit, we provide a Discount Code to use during online check-out. Please contact membership@pcnw.org (we aim for 24-hr or less response time) or call 206.720.7222 x0 to obtain the current codes.


    CLASS REGISTRATION
    Payment Options

    • Full Payment = Total tuition and materials fee for the course paid at registration
    • 2 Part Payment Plan = Incurs $20 processing fee; 50% of total tuition paid at registration, with remaining balance due 28 days after the official start date of the quarter
    • Non-Refundable Deposit = 15% of total tuition due at registration to hold place in course, with remaining balance due on the official start date of the quarter; in the even that the student must cancel their registration, this deposit is non-refundable

    CLASS WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICY
    Students wishing to Drop/Withdraw from a Course must submit notification to PCNW administrative staff. Notification may be e-mailed to the Registrar, OR mailed/submitted in person to PCNW Attn: Registrar at 900 12th Ave Seattle, WA 9122, OR over the phone by calling 206.720.7222 x0.

    • Course Canceled by PCNW | Enrolled students receive a full refund of tuition or may transfer their tuition to another course open for registration
    • Drop/Withdrawal Prior to First Day of Academic Quarter | PCNW retains 15% of the total tuition (or non-refundable deposit) for the course; the First Day of the Academic Quarter is defined as the first day of the quarter, or start date of the class, as published on the PCNW website
    • Drop/Withdrawal ON or BEFORE the 14th Day of the Academic Quarter | PCNW retains 50% of the total tuition for the course
    • Drop/Withdrawal AFTER the 14th Day of the Academic Quarter | No Refund – The drop period is defined as the first 14 days of the academic quarter as published on the PCNW website; students who withdraw after the 14th day of the quarter are not eligible to receive a refund or transfer tuition to another course or future quarter

    In any case in which a refund is due a student, the refund shall be made within 30 days of receiving the student’s notice of cancellation or withdrawal from the school, or of the date a course is canceled by Photographic Center Northwest (PCNW). All tuition refunds are issued in the form of a check. PCNW cannot be responsible for giving refunds for classes, workshops, or other programming dropped or missed due to illness, emergencies, or events beyond our control if notification of cancellation/withdrawal is not received within the stated deadlines.

    WORKSHOP REGISTRATION
    Full Payment for workshop tuition is due at the time of registration.


    WORKSHOP WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICY

    • Workshop Canceled by PCNW | Enrolled students receive a full refund of tuition or may transfer their tuition to another workshop open for registration
    • Cancel/Withdraw at least 7 Days PRIOR to Workshop Start Date | Student will receive a refund of tuition less a $25 Cancellation Fee OR if a student wishes to transfer to an alternate workshop offering, a $25 transfer fee will apply
    • Cancel/Withdraw LESS THAN 7 Days prior to Workshop Start Date | No Refund or Transfer; this is also true in the event that a student fails to show-up/attend a course
