DESCRIPTION
Join PCNW for a unique opportunity to work with acclaimed interdisciplinary artist Wynne Greenwood. This workshop offers time, space and structure for artists looking to expand their practice, incorporate new mediums into an existing or previous project and explore new terrain conceptually and formally. Through group discussion of participants’ work, looking at “case studies” of other artists working across multiple mediums, and individual “homework” or consideration suggestions, participants will look for the ways their work wants to and can take shape. Participants should come with either a project-in-process or a past project that they want to revisit and bring new life to.
Working with photography, video, object making, performance, and music, Wynne Greenwood explores the construction of self in relationship to group formation and process. Her work has been included in performances and exhibitions at the New Museum, the Whitney Biennial, the Tate Modern, and the Walker Art Center.
