CTL 2024 - Flash Photography Photo Walk

Free with RSVP for Chase The Light 2024 Participants (must be registered as a participant for Chase The Light to participate in the photo walk). Click register and proceed through checkout; you will be asked to enter contact/billing information, but no payment will be required.

Create your own light this year with a flash photo walk in Capitol Hill. Join Jake Nelson on a quick and fun photo walk during sunset hours to create images using a camera flash.

Participants will start the walk in front of Photographic Center Northwest, walk along 12th Avenue, and then head into the Pike & Pine area. From there, the walk will conclude in Cal Anderson Park. Along the way you will look for objects and people to photograph using different flash techniques.

Requirements:
This walk is open to all skill levels with any kind of camera. However, all images must be taken with a flash (external or built in). We recommend bringing an extra set of batteries if you're using an external flash.

Feel free to bring objects to photograph, and you are encouraged to ask people permission to take their photograph on the street during the walk.

Open to all levels of photographer with any kind of camera so long as it offers the option to shoot with flash. Must be registered for Chase The Light 2024 to sign-up and participate.
